The Look Up Center seeks to bring restoration to the individual, the family, and the community. We are convinced that people are truly changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are not only committed to helping them get on their feet, but to also share the love of Christ in confidence that it will overcome their hangups and oppression.
Young Life believes in the power of presence. Kids’ lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God’s love with them. Because their leader believes in them, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose. The Chapel supports the local YL ministry: Young Life of Licking County.
We support Toshe and Jessie Temelkov who head up Leader Impact, a ministry to those who are leaders in government and business in Macedonia. Granville Chapel has sent a missions team to Macedonia to help with an English Camp called Speak Out.
Family Ministry Center
The Family Ministry Center (FMC) is a place and a people of refuge for Cleveland’s Clark-Fulton neighborhood and beyond so that God can be made famous. Founded by and accountable to Bay Presbyterian Church, the FMC practices a model of mutually engaged partnership with nearly twenty organizations. Framed by an overarching commitment to sustainable community development, the mostly nonprofit-partners of the FMC work in a wide range of arenas including urban renewal, alternative education, church-planting, the arts, international missions, transitional care for veterans, and more.
Our youth have taken many trips to Cleveland to help the Family Ministry Center (FMC) in being the light of Jesus to their community. They graciously accept us into their living community as their own brothers and sisters and let us have retreats and work together in their community.
YMCA Christian Emphasis Ministry
We collaborate with other churches in the area to reach Licking County with the Y’s mission to demonstrate the love of Christ. We have helped with the Newark Trick or Treat on the Square, VBS Sports Camp, and the YMCA Easter Egg Hunt. For more information about the Licking County YMCA, visit their website.
Joe Haack is married to Josie, and together they have three boys: Jude, Henry, and Lewis. In 2009 Joe and Josie joined the vision of Grace Central to plant churches in the city center of Columbus, Ohio. After consideration and much prayer they chose to plant a new congregation of Grace Central in Grandview Heights.
