This week at The Chapel we continue to learn together the Biblical language of Christian Lament by moving from complaint to the practice of calling upon God to boldly act on our behalf. In Psalm 142 we encounter David who is on the run from those who would seek to kill him. Full of despair and loneliness, crying out to the Lord in lament, he shows us how confidence in God’s character and knowledge of his past deliverance compels us to make bold requests.
