Our Denomination

The Granville Chapel is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

The PCA was organized in December 1973 when a group of churches left the mainline Presbyterian denomination in opposition to long-developing theological liberalism.

The PCA is the largest conservative, reformed denomination in the United States, and is made up of more than 1,900 congregations, organized into 88 presbyteries.

The PCA is a confessional church, having adopted the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms as its own statement of faith.
