This week we begin our Advent Series (Our Generous God) by considering God’s generous promise to Abraham in Genesis 22:15-18, and how that promise finds it’s ultimate fulfillment in the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. Using New Testament passages like Galatians 3:7-9 and Hebrews 6:13-19, God’s people will be called to rejoice in the person and work of Jesus Christ, to delight in God’s promises, and to trust Him to faithfully fulfill each and every one of them.
