Revelation 8:1-6 "The Prayers of the Saints" Sermon Series: King of Ages (A Series in Revelation)

This week at The Chapel we return to our series in Revelation, “King of Ages,” and continue to consider the work of God through the ages in persevering His church in the time between Jesus’ ascension and coming return in glory. After the Lamb had opened the seventh seal in 8:1 there was silence in heaven. And now as we continue in chapter 8, we see the heavenly angels are preparing to blow trumpets of judgment. But before they do, John is afforded a glimpse of the role that the prayers of the saints play in God’s redemptive plans. Join us this Sunday and be encouraged to know that your prayers are indeed welcomed, received, and used by God through the priestly work of the Lord Jesus who always lives to make intercession for us.
