John 1:29-51 "Come and See, Go and Tell!"

This week at The Chapel we take a short break from our series, “King of Kings,” by turning to the first chapter in John’s gospel. Do you remember who first introduced you to the Lord? If you are like me, it wasn’t a pastor or an elder, but was a family member or a friend. Each of us who have been captured by the good news of the gospel have a story to tell. Not everyone we tell will accept what we have to say and that is to be expected. God’s word tells us that “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news”? How could we possibly keep such a wonderful message to ourselves. Like Andrew and Philip from the scripture reading today God is inviting you to “go and tell” others to “come and see” Jesus. God promises to do the rest.
