This week at The Chapel we continue our topical series on Christian contentment by turning to 1 Timothy 6:17-19 and considering what generosity has to do with contentment. In a world of extreme excess, especially in our own country, it can be easy to see the measure of our worth being directly proportional to the amount of our income, the abundance of our possessions, or even the status we have in the eyes of others. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Dan opens God’s Word and leads us to consider and embrace our role as stewards of the riches God has entrusted to us, and challenges us to pursue lives that see generosity and contentment as friends, not enemies.
